You certify that you are eighteen (18) years of age or older.

By submitting your Story (“Story” defined as your narrative about your Yamaha product which may include photos and/or personal information), you, as the person submitting the Story (“You”) agree and understand that You will be sharing your Story with Yamaha. You understand that Yamaha, anyone acting on behalf of Yamaha, or its respective licensees, dealers, successors and assigns will have the right, where permitted by law, without any further notice, review or consent to print, publish, broadcast, distribute, and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter in perpetuity and throughout the world, your Story, including, without limitation, names, portraits, pictures, likeness, images and/or text as contained in the Story.  

Yamaha will determine, within its sole discretion, if and when your Story is or is not published.   You understand that You will receive no payment or royalty for any use of your Story, that Yamaha is under no obligation to use or distribute your Story, and that You have no right to inspect or approve any use of the Story.  

You certify that You are the author and/or copyright owner of all text and photos/video in the Story or the copyright owner’s authorized agent and have the permission of others who have contributed to or are featured in any Story You submit. You confirm that you have all the necessary rights to grant this license to Yamaha. You further represent that if there are identifiable individuals other than You in any photos, video or other content You submit, You have their authorization to grant consent to Yamaha for the use of their names, image, voice or likeness. If there are any individuals under the age of 18 in any photos, video or other content You submit, You must obtain the permission of each individual’s parent or legal guardian prior to submitting your Story.  

By submitting a Story, and to the extent allowed by law, You grant Yamaha a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, irrevocable, non-exclusive, sub licensable, unconditional and transferable license to use, edit, modify, cut, rearrange, add to, delete from, reproduce, encode, store, modify, copy, transmit, publish, post, broadcast, display, adapt, translate, exhibit, creative derivative works from, incorporate into other works, perform, and/or otherwise exploit and use or reuse your Story, all materials submitted in connection with the Story, name, photo, and biographical material, in whole or in part in any and all forms of media or technology now known or later developed, including but not limited to Yamaha’s websites, social media platforms, print, and/or emails, throughout the world, and in any manner, including but not limited to for trade, advertising, promotional, commercial, or any other purposes without further review, notice, approval, consideration, or compensation to You or to any third party.
